We're Ready for our Big Reveal

Seattle's most epic movie experience just got even more epic. When Cinerama reopens on November 20th for the premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, we'll also be debuting our cutting edge technology, brand new amenities and expanded concessions. These upgrades have made Cinerama a world-class theater with groundbreaking sight and sound offerings-because we want to provide nothing but the best for our fans!

Cinerama has been outfitted with the first-of-its-kind Christie 6P dual laser projector in a commercial theater, Dolby Atmos sound and Meyer Sound Acheron loudspeakers. Combined, these create a crisp, multi-dimensional experience unlike any other.

Inside the theater, new, wider chairs offer the most premium seating options of any theater in Seattle. The number of rows in Cinerama's main auditorium has been reduced to allow for increased leg room.

Hungry? Don't fret! While Cinerama's chocolate popcorn remains a signature item, you'll get to peruse a new menu featuring locally-sourced food, sweets, beer, wine and cider. The expanded concessions menu features local favorites including pretzels from Tom Douglas' Brave Horse Tavern and gourmet hot dog options from Uli's Sausage and Painted Hills Natural Beef. Sweets from Theo Chocolate, Cupcake Royale and Full Tilt Ice Cream will also be available. Last, we've installed six taps with beverages from Elysian Brewing Company, Fremont Brewing Company, Seattle Cider Company and Proletariat Wine Company.

And that's not all, folks! In addition to our blockbuster repertoire, we'll be adding new festivals and special monthly programming, which will be announced early next year.

Whew, that felt good to get off our chests. We look forward to celebrating the #ReturnOfTheRama with you!
